Privacy Policy

Innovate Estimating is a trading name of Innovate Build Co Pty Ltd as trustee for the Innovate Build Co Trust (ABN 39 749 404 883). We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect and how we treat it.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to quote and deliver your work: your name and business contact details, and the tender, drawing, specification and contract documents you send us. We do not seek sensitive personal information, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this website.

If you use the enquiry form on this website, it collects what you type into it: your name, company, email, and optionally your phone number, trade package, tender close date, a link to your drawings and a message. The form emails those details straight to us and stores nothing on the website. Our website host records the usual technical details of the request, including your IP address and country, which we use only to keep the form working and to block automated abuse.

Why we collect it

We use this information to prepare fee proposals, carry out quantity takeoffs, pricing and tender support, and return your deliverables. We may use your contact details to follow up on a quote or a completed job.

Your drawings are confidential

Tender drawing sets are treated as commercially confidential. We never share your drawings, quantities or pricing with competitors or any third party, other than the service providers we rely on to deliver your work (for example, secure cloud storage). Any rates or pricing you provide are used solely on your own work and never inform work we carry out for anyone else.

Storage and security

Your documents and our working files are stored in a secure cloud account controlled by us and administered from Australia. Access is restricted to the people delivering your job. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

We never sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information or your documents to anyone, for any purpose.

Retention

We keep job files and correspondence for as long as needed to deliver the work, answer follow-up questions, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. When they are no longer needed, we delete or de-identify them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@innovateestimating.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
